It is hard not to notice that homeless peron on the street corner, but what are we supposed to do for them? Our Savior's community ministries offers something called Lily Bags which are small Ziploc bags filled with useful things like water, sunscreen, snacks, woolcaps, and anything else we think would be helpful depending on the season.
If you would like to take one they are usually offered in the narthex of our building and we only ask that you leave a small donation to offset the cost of making the bag.

Our Savior Lutheran Church is a congregation of caring Christians sharing God's love with the community. Because our congregation has been blessed with members from Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville and even Cedar Park, our community includes any place our members live, work and play. Their neighborhoods, workplaces, towns, parks, recreation centers, grocery stores, hair salons, schools...well, any where our "body of Christ" finds itself.

This is one of the most important aspects of this ministry, as it motivates young women to become prepared to parent...using Biblical principles!
