Sunday Morning Worship Times

Worship Services and Descriptions

8:00 AM is a Traditional Service using the order of worship found in the Lutheran Service Book. During the worship we sing hymns and Psalms, particpate in confession and absolution, confess our faith with one of the ancient creeds and hear God's Word through readings from our holy Scriptures.

10:45 AM is a Blended worship service offering a spoken liturgy which is printed in the bulletin, plus a mix of contemporary music and the traditional pipe organ music.

The word liturgy comes form the greek word leitourgía meaning "public service." It has come to be known as a collection of formularies for public worship or a particular arrangement the church uses during a worship gathering. (dictionary.com

Prayer Ministry of OSL

The members of OSL believe very much in the power of prayer and the necessity of being in constant communication with our Heavenly Father.  If you have a prayer request you would like to share and have the family of OSL left it up to the Lord, then contact Margarete Tabor or Pastor G. to get things started.
