Texas Ramp Project
June 13 you are invited to participate in another Ramp Project in the Austin area. OSL has helped to provide access ramps for many families and we hope to continue this as long as we are needed. Volunteers are needed to assemble the ramps and the good news is...no experience necessary! We meet in the church parking lot at 7:45am and ride where ever we are needed. This is family friendly. Contact Paul Terral through the front office if you are interested or need information.

Lights!! Camera!! Book Fair!!
 Join us in the Parlor March 1-6 for our annual book fair. Books available for all our students and families. We will be open before classes and after school until 4:30pm.
Annual Chili Cook-Off
Chili Cookoff - Sunday, March 1, 2009 - 6:00 p.m. Combination chili cookoff / dessert contest for the youngsters in combination with a visit from a probationer for the new mission field in Mumbai, India. Mike Linebrink also plans to update us on the India Churches Project which we have been supporting through Fan Into Flames, which is part of the Ablaze movement in Synod.
Building a Foundation (New Member Class)
Building A Foundation
A foundation is not only important in building construction but in our walk with Christ as well. Join us on February 6 and 7 for our introductory class called Building a Foundation. The class is for those new to the traditions of the Lutheran Church or for those interested in a refresher of what we believe and confess. Women's Retreat
Women's Retreat at Camp Lonestar:
"Building Up Our Sisters in Christ"
Women of all ages are welcome to join together in an uplifting weekend retreat hosted at Camp Lone Star in La Grange, Tx. Check in begins Friday, February 27, at 4pm. The retreat will continue through Saturday February 28. Contact Dorothy Maass for more information.
Volunteers Needed!!
Volunteers are needed for a couple of ministry areas within our church.
Worship and Communion assistants are needed to help on Sunday mornings and our soon to be Wednesday night Lenten services. If you are interested in helping during our worship gatherings please contact Jon Oelrich at oelrich@sbcglobal.net.
The church season of Lent will begin early March. This means our tradition of Wednesday night meals followed by a worship service will begin too. If you are part of a group, or family, that enjoys cooking and would be willing to provide a meal, please contact Kyle Henson at kwhenson@gmail.com. Available dates are March 4, 18, 25, and April 1.

Interfaith Hospitality Network
Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) is taking place December 8 and 12. OSL volunteers will provide dinner and fellowship for four homeless families in north Austin. If you are interested in helping provide part of the meal or fellowship, please contact Paul Terral at 836-9600.
Angel Food Ministries
Every month, Our Savior Lutheran Church offers the opportunity for anyone interested to purchase food from Angel Food Ministries, and, once the food is delivered to the church, the food is available to be picked up by the individuals who placed the orders. If you would like to be part of this outreach opportunity, or are looking for this kind of assistance, please contact Sheryl Hunt.
Texas Ramp Project
November 8 at 8 in the morning we will partner with the Texas Ramp Project to build an access ramp for someone in the Austin area. If you enjoy carpentry but would not call yourself an expert...this is for you. No experience necessary, just time and a willingness to serve. Contact Paul Terral for more information. Holiday Bazaar
 Join us for a fun-filled day of fellowship and holiday shopping. Bowse through the selection of handmade crafts and homemade food and finish up the holiday shopping early. Everyone is invited!! Contact our front office for more information. 836-9600
Fall Festival
This Saturday afternoon (October 25) from 4-7pm Our Savior Lutheran School and Child care will be hosting our annual Fall Festival. The whole community is invited!! Bowling with OSL
Join us at Interstate Lanes in Round Rock for an OSL family bowling night. We will start at 6pm. $10 per person which includes three games and shoes.
