Prayer of the Week

“For I was blind, now I see.”

The word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

I will raise up for David a righteous Branch.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you.

He will not forget your work and the love you have shown toward His name.

When you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.

For by grace you have been saved through faith … not a result of works.

If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.

Merciful Lord, Your steadfast love never ceases, and Your compassions never fail. Forgive my ingratitude, renew my spirit, and forge me in Your mercy so that I cling to You with thankful faith each day. Amen.

Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.

Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your master.

God loves a cheerful giver.

Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.”

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

“One thing have I asked of the Lord… to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.

“Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses… to the end of the earth.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which He obtained with His own blood.

But the Lord said to him, ‘Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine to carry My name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.

We must obey God rather than men.

I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand upon the earth.

The Lord has made a proclamation to the ends of the earth: ‘Say to Daughter Zion, “See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

In Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them.

For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.

Consider Him who endured from sinners such hostility against Himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
